About
The main aim of the screening tool is to provide a study of the current situation on existing laws, policies, theories and aspects of educational mediation. The objective is not only to perform a research but to get a detailed idea on the current situation of this new sector of mediation, namely educational mediation and based on this to improve what we already have
by bringing new knowledge and skills in help of educational stakeholders.
The screening tool will serve as an inspirational and informative base for the development of the training programs for educational mediators and peer mediators (IO3 and IO4) as well as for the evaluation of the collected good practices in educational mediation.
The screening tool will be developed for all EU27 countries not only for the partners’ ones and will serve as a data base for future use of everyone interested in the topic of educational mediation.
It will contain:

ABOUT
- This output will make an overview of the current practices and approaches in the partner's countries used for mediation in education.
- A comparison will be made between the methods and approaches delivered in the partners’ countries with a focus on similarities and differences but most of all what works and what do not in different conflict situations.
- The students will also benefit from the collection as their teachers will present the practices and facilitate students to take on active position in solving every day conflict situations.

ABOUT
By educating students to be in а position of educational mediators, children and adolescents will learn the following topics: how to apply constructive methods in conflict resolution; how to apply nonviolent communication; and how to reach acceptable solutions and agreements in conflict situations.
